Vote for 2 Trustees and 1 Deputy Early Career Researcher Rep - let your views be heard
Members of the British Society for Neuroendocrinology (BSN) are invited to vote in the election of 2 new Trustees and 1 Deputy Early Career Researcher (ECR) Representative, who will serve on the Committee of the British Society for Neuroendocrinology.
Role of the Trustees
Trustees make up the BSN Committee and are central to the governance and strategic direction of the Society, helping to support our mission of promoting excellence in research and education in neuroendocrinology. Trustees include an ECR Trustee who represents the views and perspectives of early career researchers.
Role of the Deputy ECR Representative
The Deputy ECR Representative assists the ECR Trustee in representing ECRs at Committee meetings and supporting BSN ECRs with events, toolkits and workshops. The Deputy ECR Representative will take over as ECR Trustee at the 2026 AGM.
How to vote
Voting is vital in making sure the leadership of the BSN reflects the needs and interests of its membership.
- Members: check your inbox for an email with a link to the list of of nominated candidates for the 2 Trustees and the Deputy ECR Representative, along with their supporting statements and a link to the voting form
- Members are invited to vote for up to 2 candidates as Trustees
- Early career researcher members ONLY are invited to vote for 1 candidate as Deputy ECR Representative
- Voting closes on 31 July 2025 at 5pm BST
- Any votes received after this time or not complying with the voting procedure will be invalid and not be counted.
NOTE - Members must have paid their membership fee for 2025 to be eligible to vote. If you have not renewed, you can go to your MySociety account to renew, and then vote. All responses will be treated in confidence.
