Join us on on 6 August 2022 at the Wolfson Medical School, Glasgow University, for 'Taking Care of Business – Post PhD Professional Journeys', a day dedicated to Early Career Researchers, hosted by the British Society for Neuroendocrinology and organised by our ECR Representatives, Dr David Lyons and Dr Beth Coull.

About 'Taking Care of Business – Post PhD Professional Journeys'

After all the hard work of getting a PhD, it’s not unusual to express a degree of anxiety about what to do next and how best to achieve it.

To help our early career researchers make informed decisions about that often daunting “next step”, the BSN has assembled a group of speakers – many of whom are current or ex-members – to discuss their professional journeys across a variety of research and non-research based careers. We have speakers who work in academia, industry, publishing and a number of other professions you might not have previously considered, yet nevertheless hold great store in your qualifications and expertise.

If you feel your career progression could benefit from a helping hand please join us at this informative and informal networking event where you’ll be able to make new friends and get valuable advice and encouragement as you begin your own journey… also there’ll be lunch… and snacks.
