Call for symposia
Together with the scientific and educational committees, we decided to open a call for symposia for the coming meeting in 2021. Each symposium must include:
- 4 invited speakers (25 minutes of presentation + 5 minutes of discussion each)
- a chairman (proponent) of the symposium (a second chairman will be selected among the members of the Scientific and Educational Committees)
The proposal must include:
- a title
- brief summary of the symposium
- the names of the speakers (with 3-4 lines describing their expertise and their email address)
- signed agreement of the speakers
In selecting the speakers, the proponent should also consider gender balance and, possibly, to include different countries/continents. Please have a look on the program of the last meeting (2019) https://sites.google.com/site/neurosteroids2019/assignments and avoid in your proposal similar topics and speakers.
Benefits for speakers: Invited speakers will have free registration for the official meeting. Free registration will include also the social dinner. Organizing committee will be unable to cover travel and accommodation. The speakers will have the possibility to contribute as authors in a special issue that will include the invited lectures. Previous proceedings of the meeting and of the satellite symposia have been published in prestigious journals: Brain Research Reviews, Annals of the New York Academy of Science, Progress in Neurobiology, Hormones and Behavior, Journal of Neuroendocrinology, Neuroscience, Neurochemistry International, Journal Molecular Neuroscience, Journal Steroid Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Neuroscience & Biobehavioral Reviews, Frontiers in Neuroendocrinology.
How to submit your symposium proposal: Proposals have to be submitted to the following email address: firstname.lastname@example.org
Deadline for proposals: 20 December 2019. Communication of the acceptance of the symposium will be before the February 3, 2020.
