International Conference to be held 1st-4th September 2010 in Edinburgh, Scotland. **** Early Bird Deadline - 31st May ***** For all information including abstract submission instructions, preliminary programme, registration procedures and accommodation booking please visit the conference website: http://www.edinburghneuroscience.ed.ac.uk/parentalbrain2010/index.html **************************************************************************** Travel Awards Information For Trainees A small number of competitive travel awards (up to £300 per person) will be made for trainees to support their travel costs to present an abstract at the conference. Eligibility for travel awards: applicants must be postgraduate students or postdoctoral fellows/research assistants (or full-time equivalent) within 3 years of completing their PhD, and must be supported by an e-mail from their supervisor confirming their status. How to apply: After registering online, please email Audrey Kerr (a.h.kerr@ed.ac.uk) with a copy of your Abstract submitted for the meeting (on which you must be first author), a one-page C.V., registration confirmation and details of your expected travel plans including full costs and how you expect to meet the balance of the cost if not fully paid for by an award. Also include a short personal statement (no more than 200 words) justifying your application and need for travel support. The decision on awards will be made based on the justification made and need. The closing date for applications is Monday May 31st 2010. Applicants will be notified of their award before 31st July 2010 and the award will be paid in cash at the registration desk during the conference. |
