The meeting will be organized in the city of Groningen, the capital city of the province Groningen, the Netherlands, from July 7 –July 10. The city of Groningen is the home of the second oldest University in the Netherlands, founded in 1614. The university is home to one of the European largest centers for the integrative study of behavioral neurobiology, with a wide array of research groups that study behavior from its ecology and evolution to molecular neurobiology, and largest Dutch graduate schools Behavioral and Cognitive Neurosciences.
Groningen is charming city in the northern part of the Netherlands, about 180 km from Amsterdam. With approx. 180.000 inhabitants of which more than 40.000 are students, it is a real student city, with a wide variety of pubs and restaurants in the city center. The conference venue will be the in the brand new education building at the University Medical Center Groningen which is a 10 minute walk from the city center.
